Irmo Fire, West Columbia Fire, Lexington County Fire Service and City of Columbia Fire Department units were alerted for a reported apartment fire in southern most side of the Irmo Fire District.

Irmo Fire Battalion Chief 111 (Arant) arrived on scene reporting a working fire.

The fire was upgraded to a 2nd alarm bringing additional companies.

There were no injuries to occupants and minor injuries to IFD firefighters on scene.

The fire was brought under control with Irmo Fire Marshal Brian Haley leading the investigation.
