Irmo Fire crews are on scene of a residential structure fire in the 1500 block of Woodstream Road. Quick work by our crews with an assist from Columbia Fire crews saved the house and kept the damage limited. Residents were not home at the time of the fire but two dogs were. The dogs were found and safely removed from the structure. there were no injuries. The cause is currently under investigation.
