“A” Shift Responds Automatic Aid to Chapin

“Lexington County Fire Service units responded to a structure fire Tuesday night on the 200 block of Caro Lane in Chapin. When units arrived on scene, there was a camper that was engulfed in flames and the home was also on fire. Mutual aid was provided by Irmo Fire District, Columbia Fire Department (SC) and Little Mountain Fire Department. Thirteen fire units and 28 personnel worked to extinguish the fire. Two occupants were displaced. One occupant was treated on scene for minor injuries by Lexington County EMS. Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.”
