Irmo Fire crews, with help from Lexington County Fire Service and Columbia Fire Department, responded to a structure fire on Pine Island. One structure was destroyed and a second structure was heavily damaged. While there were no traffic delays, the smoke from this incident was quite a sight from the dam.
