Irmo Fire crews responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of Hempsted Road. There were no reports of injury and the damage was minor The cause is currently under investigation.

The rail work did not hamper our response, we have modified our operational plans and we have redeployed our resources during the rail project in order to maintain coverage and service delivery.
