At approximately 18:35 on March 5th , L175 responded alongside Columbia Fire Department (SC) and Richland County EMS units to a Traffic Accident involving multiple vehicles in the 4900blk of Broad River rd.

Upon arrival, crews identified two vehicles with confirmed entrapment and began extrication. All parties involved were quickly extricated and transported to nearby hospitals.

This incident was one of three auto extrications for the IFD on March 5th. The below image was from a Extrication earlier in the day at St. Andrews and Tram Rd. IFD E174 was able to extricate this patient by flapping down the roof. LCFS E330 provided automatic aid support as both E171 and L175 were on or returning from other incidents.
