Irmo Fire units, along with West Columbia Fire, Lexington County Fire Service and City of Columbia Fire units were alerted for a reported apartment fire in E171s primary response area.

Irmo Fire units arrived on scene reporting a working fire. Fire units remained on scene for several hours working to extinguish the fire and assist the occupants with recovering their property.
