A large number of traffic signals in Irmo are out. People are not stopping or slowing down, just blasting through the intersections. Numerous businesses are closed in the area. No power, not gonna get power any time soon either. The tropical storm that blew through overnight caused widespread damage across the midlands. It is going to take all day to open up the roads and several days to restore power. Trees will continue to fall down everywhere. The big ones, not the little ones. The ground is saturated and these trees have been holding on all night. They’re tired and board, ready to celebrate the fall, you wood be two. Stay alive. Stay home.
