Congratulations are in order to Captain Chevis Sexton on his completion of Fire Officer Academy: The Company Officer, a week-long grueling training program held by the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association. This is a highly coveted and extremely competitive program that accepts only 25 applicants from across the state, and we are proud to have had Captain Sexton representing Irmo. We believe in him and his leadership abilities and can’t wait to see the great things he brings back to the floor with him.
