Today, we celebrate two of our very own- Firefighter Sharon Scoggins and Firefighter Hazel Gomez!

Firefighter Scoggins recently retired after 25 years of service with Irmo Fire. She is the first female in our district’s history to do so!

In addition to her service with Irmo Fire, FF Gomez has spent 15 years active duty with the United States National Guard serving her home state of Hawaii, as well as South Carolina.

Thank you for your service, ladies! It is an honor and a privilege to know you both.
