Station Information:
Irmo Fire HQ is the main station for the Irmo Fire District located at 6017 Saint Andrews Road Columbia South Carolina. This station holds the administrative offices of the Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, Assistant Fire Chief of Administration and the Fire Marshals office. This station houses not only an Engine Company comprised of 1 captain and 3 firefighters but most of the special operations equipment for the fire district to include SRT 117/Boat 117 and Ranger 170. Due to the station being located near the Saluda River all personnel whom work in station are required to be certified swift water rescue technicians. Irmo Fire headquarters runs approximately 2300 calls for service.
